As a Junior UI Designer in Bejamas, you’ll work closely with our clients, Project Managers, and Dev Team.
We are looking for someone who:
- has written and spoken English at a high enough level to communicate smoothly with the rest of the international team members and clients (B2+/C1)
- wants to develop in UI area
- is passionate about design
- has some first experience with creating stunning UI
- has his/her favourite mantra, which is called design systems
- follows the latest news on Dribbble, Behance
- has experience using tools such as Figma (or Sketch, Adobe XD)
- knows that asking questions is crucial for the process
- knows that it is ok that you don’t know everything
- is open to receiving feedback and improving upon it
- has an eye for the details and pixel perfect approach to design work
- has creative mind – innovative, inventive, able to start ideas and solve clients’ problems
- has high communication skills, with the aim to create long-term relationships with clients
- it will be also nice if you have some experience with applications like Webflow, Framer or animation and/or illustration software (ProtoPie, Adobe After Effects, Spline). We will be happy to give you space to play more with this kind of tools and develop your skills. Talking about development…
What you will learn?
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with project managers and developers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
- Design user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to the internal team
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
- Do interviews with users
