Masterclass Education are currently looking for talented teaching assistants for our open opportunities in the South East London area.
A school based in the Greenwich area are looking for teaching assistants to join their growing and developing school. This is a mainstream primary school with two classes per year group with a nursery class and an additional resource base (SEND UNIT) attached.
The school are looking for a staff who can fit into their ethos and who are flexible with working with mainstream and SEND students. This is a long-term opportunity to start in September until the end of the academic year depending on performance.
Previous school-based experience is desired but not essential, if you have childcare experience in other areas such as sports coaching, tutoring, mentoring, care assistants, nursery assistance or any other relevant experience would be beneficial.
The Role
- Working with students KS1-KS2
- Supporting students with ASD
- Assisting class teacher with classroom duties
- Engaging in the wider responsibilities across the school such as lunch cover, assemblies etc
