POSITION DESCRIPTION
The cashier is responsible for completing sales transactions and performing other support functions that may include cleaning display and/or stock areas and assisting with stocking activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Operate a cash register and receive payment from customers in cash or credit card, accurately count and provide change to guests as required, and follow all guest service and cash handling policies and procedures
- Assist in reconciling, and verifying the accuracy of transactions
- Maintain equipment in an organized, clean, welcoming manner at all times
- Keep items well stocked and displayed in an appealing and organized manner
- Follow proper work procedures, opening and closing procedures, and promptly report any equipment/maintenance issues to the manager
- Stay productive at all times and prepare for future needs as time allows
- Maintain a solid knowledge of menu items
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KEY SKILLS
- Ability to work in a team setting or independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Must be available for shift work; mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
